Chula Dair

@chula_dair

Chula Dair is a brown queer neurodivergent artist who lives in San Antonio ,Texas. With a background in printmaking, painting, & drawing they illustrate narratives about the worries of the future , the realities of existence , and the nuanced relationship with intrusive thinking & the daily grind. She interprets classical renaissance and Catholicism imagery in a world she finds to be less romanticized but exaggerated with the harsh realities living with global, social and environmental issues. Although these paintings come from a place of feeling overwhelmed with what is to come, there is also beauty and tranquility in the acceptance of this realty.

Abernathie Colette Villegas

@abernathiecolette

My name is Abernathie Colette aka Pangolin Orange. This name of my endeavor is many things. A person, place, a thing, a vessel, a mood, an energy. Pangolin Orange is many things as is my work. Sometimes the piece is a deep reflection or comment on life, other times, simply tongue in cheek. Crossing mediums of oil painting to etched glass I seek to capture all the things in my head, heart and soul in ways that can be shared and leave a mark even when I'm gone. Begin, the Age of Abbylon.
